Training as a voice artist enables the actor to develop and manipulate their voice to portray an array of quirky characters. June Foray brought to life the voices of Grandma Fa (Mulan), Granny (Looney Tunes), and Jokey Smurf. She has made a lifelong career voicing characters on radio, TV, and film. This class gives student to opportunity to play with their voices, create new characters, or fine tune their current mimicking abilities. At the conclusion of Terms 2 and 4 students will have played multiple roles in a professionally produced radio drama.
Voice Acting classes are available for year 7 students through to adults. They are held Wednesday afternoons 4:15pm-5:15pm
